These terms apply to Bowlful (the “App”, formerly called Sofra), made by Nexios Media LLC (“we”). The App is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple’s EULA”). The points below add to it; if they conflict, Apple’s EULA applies.
1. Bowlful Gold
- Bowlful Gold adds unlimited recipe imports, household sharing, Plan My Week, sharing recipes as PDFs and pictures, and past shopping lists. The App without Gold remains free to use, with a limited number of recipe imports.
- Bowlful Gold is offered as a monthly subscription ($1.99), a yearly subscription ($9.99, with a one-week free trial), or a one-time lifetime purchase ($24.99, a Founding Price until February 8, 2027). These are US prices; the App Store shows the price and currency for your country before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or, for the yearly plan with a free trial, when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings at any time. Canceling stops future renewals; the current period stays active until it ends.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Prices may change. Changes to a subscription’s price are made through the App Store, which tells subscribers in advance as Apple requires.
2. Recipes and food information
- Bowlful’s own recipes are written to be halal- and kosher-friendly, and their nutrition and allergen details are worked out from the ingredients. They are provided for general information and may contain mistakes. Always read product labels, especially for allergens, and check any product’s halal or kosher certification yourself.
- Linked recipes in Discover belong to the websites that publish them; we don’t check or control their content.
- Nutrition shown for imported recipes is either the source’s own or an estimate; it isn’t medical or dietary advice.
- Follow safe food-handling practice, for example with raw eggs, raw fish and meat.
3. Your content
Recipes you import, write or photograph are yours to keep for your personal use. Respect the rights of the websites and authors you import from: the App saves recipes for your own cooking, not for republishing.
4. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
