Terms of Use

Rift Runner Terms of Use

These terms apply to Rift Runner (the “App”), made by Nexios Media LLC (“we”). The App is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple’s EULA”). The points below add to it; if they conflict, Apple’s EULA applies.

1. The full game

  • Rounds 1 to 3, the Daily Mini and the accessibility options are free. A single one-time in-app purchase (the “unlock”) opens the rest of the game. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
  • The App Store shows the price and currency for your country before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • You can restore the unlock on another device signed in to the same Apple Account with RESTORE PURCHASE in the App.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. If a purchase is refunded, the unlock ends.
  • The App has no ads, no paid continues and no random-reward purchases.

2. Offline play and the scoreboard

Rift Runner is a single-player game. Every round works without an internet connection. The game has an optional online scoreboard: it only sends a score when you choose to save it, and it shows scores when you open a scoreboard. The App Store also uses the network to handle the unlock.

  • A nickname you save is shown to every player. By saving one you agree to the nickname rules. We may hide or remove a nickname that breaks them, and repeated abuse or cheating can remove all your scores.
  • Scores can be checked by replaying their recorded moves, and a score that fails the check can be hidden.
  • The scoreboard is offered as is and may be changed, reset or stopped; the game itself keeps working without it.
  • What the scoreboard sends and keeps, and how to delete it, is in the privacy policy.

3. Your use of the App

Use the App for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. The game, its artwork, music and code belong to Nexios Media LLC or its licensors.

4. No guarantees

We work hard to make the App reliable, but it is provided “as is”, and to the extent the law allows we are not responsible for losses that come from using it or from it being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

5. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
